Insurance Finance Technician

Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. Hybrid, minimum 2 office days each week 

IBA (Insurance Broker Accounting ) experience essential. Joining an established Broker, this busy roles includes :

  • Posting BACS receipts and allocating to specific client/insurer accounts.
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Investigating the Acturis platform and liaising with relevant teams to resolve receipt allocation issues.
  • Monthly bordereaux and insurer account reconciliations, and initiating payments.
  • Monitoring and actioning client refunds.
  • Raising premium and commission queries, ensuring prompt resolution with Account Handlers/Insurers.
  • Monitoring insurer/introducer/agent account records to investigate and resolve allocation anomalies.
  • Supporting the wider Finance Team with additional duties as required.
  • Assisting auditors during the annual audit process.
  • Undertaking ad hoc activities to support the Finance Team Leader.
